Repulsive yet seductive, powerful and enigmatic, the Borg Queen is one of our favorite Star Trek villains. In preparation for Star Trek: Picard, Becca and Ryan kick off InterTREKtional Season Two with this deep look at the Borg's baddest B. The film Star Trek: First Contact, and Voyager episodes "Dark Frontier" (S5:E15/16) and "Unimatrix Zero" (S6:E26; S7:E:1) are discussed.

Bravo for even bringing up The Bluest Eye aspect. I'm not sure how many people got that, I'm not sure who got it at the time of the movie, but I know that I was an undergrad in college, or maybe in grad school, at the time, probably around the time that I read that book for a class, and I definitely got it. But if you look at Geordi's character, he never was really romantically paired with a Black woman until it was an incident with the woman who is an alien who had a dog that was a killer alien, so on and so forth. But I digress! Awesome reference to his blue mechanical eyes, and the racial politics behind The Bluest Eye. I'm going to continue listening. LOL
